Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique designed to reduce puffiness, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural detox process. It encourages lymph fluid to flow more freely, helping you feel lighter and refreshed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Clean Hands or a Tool - this can be done manually or using a gua sha or roller
- Facial Oil or Moisturiser - to help glide over the skin (we recommend jojoba oil)
- Freshly Cleansed Face - start with clean, makeup-free skin for best results.

STEP-BY-STEP
- Start at the next - Gently sweep downward from just under the ears towards the collarbone. Repeat 3-5 times per side.
- Move to the jawline - Place your fingers or tool at the centre of your chin, then sweep outwards along the jaw toward your ears.
- Focus on the cheeks - From the side of your nose, glide outward toward the temples. This helps lift and drain fluid buildup.
- Refresh the under-eye area - Using very light pressure, move from the inner corner of the eye out toward the temple.
- Finish at the forehead - Sweep from the centre of your forehead outward toward the hairline, then gently down the temples and collarbone to complete the drainage pathway.
HOW OFTEN TO DO IT
2–4 times per week is ideal. Many people like to include it as part of their evening skincare routine for a calming, depuffing effect.
FINAL TIPS
- Always use light, gentle pressure - lymphatic drainage should feel soothing, never deep or intense
- Repeat each movement 3-5 times for best results
- Stay hydrated to support your lymphatic system from within
- Store your gua sha or roller in the fridge for extra cooling benefits
